Tan, Lee & Choo was founded in March 1972 and has been operating at the same premises at #04-04 People’s Park Complex with the same telephone number and fax number for more than 50 years.
The founding partners, Mr. Tan Kai Hoe and Mr. Lee Min Sen, have respectively retired in 2020 and 2024 after decades of dedication.
The lawyers in the firm now are Mr. Liaw Jin Poh, who joined in October 1995, and Mr. Chee Wai Pong, who joined as a consultant in April 2025.
Our team comprises two senior lawyers, Mr. Liaw Jin Poh and Mr Chee Wai Pong.
Mr. Liaw Jin Poh is a seasoned civil litigator and family lawyer.
Mr. Chee Wai Pong has close to 50 years of practice in land law, conveyancing and corporate work. Besides being the chairman and director of various listed companies, he also acts as legal advisor to many charitable and/or religious organizations.
Both Mr. Liaw and Mr. Chee are Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public.
The staff of Tan, Lee & Choo are not only fluent in English and Mandarin, but also Malay and in the Hokkien, Cantonese and Teochew dialects. We are able to communicate with our clients using whichever of the languages/dialects they prefer.
